TIS Policies & Procedures

Fee Policies

  1. A fee of BDT 500 is required when collecting the admission form.
  2. The Admission Fee is a one-time payment, due at the time of admission.
  3. Tuition fees must be cleared within the first 10 days of each month.
  4. A late fee of BDT 100 applies if paid after the 10th.
  5. An additional BDT 200 per week is charged for continued delays.
  6. Alternatively, a flat late fee of BDT 500 may apply for delayed tuition beyond the due date.
  7. No deductions or refunds are made for holidays, absences, or partial attendance.
  8. Charged annually and is payable at the beginning of the academic session.
  9. A 5% discount is offered on full annual tuition payment made in advance.
  10. Sibling Discount: 20% discount on both admission and tuition fees for all siblings.
  11. Stationery fees and additional program fees (if applicable) are non-refundable.
  12. Uniforms, books, and transport charges are not included in the academic fee structure.
  13. Students with dues pending for two consecutive months may be restricted from attending classes.
  14. The school reserves the right to revise this Fee Policy at any time without prior notice.
  15. Please note that all payments are non-refundable.

Discipline Policies

Classroom Policy:
  1. Books and exercise copies must be well-maintained; no torn or untidy materials allowed.
  2. Parents should help ensure students bring the correct books as per the routine.
  3. Students must obey teachers’ instructions and submit C.W. & H.W. on time.
  4. English must be spoken inside the classroom.
  5. If absent, parents must collect classwork and homework.
  6. Promotion is based on passing verbal and written exams, along with classroom performance.
  7. Class routines are not provided to parents of Playgroup & Nursery students.
Admission Policy:
  1. Students must follow teachers’ instructions.
  2. More than 2 hours of screen time disqualifies students from the ‘Hifz’ program.
  3. Violent behavior results in termination after 2 warnings.
  4. Parents must regularly assist with homework and assignments.
  5. No combination of discounts is allowed.
Attendance Policy:
  1. Elementary School: 90% attendance required.
  2. Junior School: 80% attendance required.
  3. Students failing to meet the attendance requirement will not be allowed to sit for exams.
Late Policy:
  1. 3 days of tardiness equals 1 day absent.
  2. School gates close 15 minutes after the start of school.
Behavior Policy:
  1. Bullying results in suspension for the next 2 classes.
  2. Foul language is a violation of the school’s behavior policy.
Policies Inside School Premises:
  1. Parents must behave appropriately at all times.
  2. Students are required to speak English.
  3. No verbal complaints; complaint forms will be provided.
  4. No gifts allowed between students or teachers.
  5. Boys must address girls as sisters, and girls must address boys as brothers.
  6. Destruction of school assets will require compensation.

 

Tiffin Policies

From KG onwards, students must bring 3 sets of healthy tiffin.
